Hours: 37.5 hrs per week

Responsible to: Early Years Manager

Qualifications: Must hold, or be in final year of, BA Childhood Practice, or Graduate PDA Childhood Practice at SCQF Level 9, or Graduate BEd.

Salary scale: Point 24-27 SJC scale: £21,562-£23,569

Child Development Officer, Garrowhill Early Learning Centre

Hours: 37.5 hours

Qualifications: Minimum Level 2 Childcare Qualification, working towards Level 3 Qualification

Responsible to: EY Manager

Salary Scale: £18,321-£19,283

Description: We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to join our Early Years team based in Garrowhill. You will provide a high quality, caring, safe and stimulating learning environment that enables children to develop at their own pace, and will be responsible for planning and delivering stimulating, exciting and balanced programmes for learning in accordance with curriculum documents for Early Years. You will be committed to providing the best possible outcomes for our children and families and will fully embrace the Indigo values and guiding principles.

Child Development Officer, part time, Castlemilk

Hours: 37.5 per fortnight, alternating Thursday/Friday and Wednesday/Thursday/Friday.

Qualifications: Minimum Level 2 Childcare Qualification, working towards Level 3 Qualification

Child Development Officer, crèche (2 posts)

Hours: 16 hours per week (usually Mon–Fri between 9am & 5pm)

Qualifications: Minimum Level 2 Childcare Qualification (Level 3 Qualification is desirable).

Driving license essential.

Responsible to: Children and Young People’s Services Manager

Salary scale: £18,321-£19,283 pro rata

Description: An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an inspiring individual, passionate about supporting families and committed to ensuring high quality childcare practice. This Child Development Officer role will work with the Children and Young People’s Services Manager to deliver mobile crèche services and contribute to the development and promotion of our mobile crèche.

Your time will be split between delivering our mobile crèche service and covering in our Early Years, Out of School Care and Indi Youth services, embracing and being fully committed to the Indigo Group values and guiding principles.

Sessional Childcare Worker

Hours: Casual, as and when required (often short notice to cover staff absence)

Salary scale: £9.00 per hour

Brief Description: Sessional Childcare Workers assist the childcare team to ensure the smooth running of services. Demonstrating flexibility and enthusiasm Indigo Group Sessional/Bank Staff will provide childcare in our Early Years, Out of School Care, Indi Youth & Mobile Crèche facility to cover for staff absence/illness/annual leave/training and fluctuating demand. These posts are suitable for staff studying childcare or already in work and wishing to supplement their existing income, or to gain additional childcare knowledge and experience.

Interviews will be held: Usually held in rounds approximately every 6-8 weeks
